Within OVHcloud, the Industrial team is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within the data center. The team ensures competitive levels of service and quality while respecting deadlines agreed upon with customers. The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of Infrastructure Technicians and service contractors ensuring efficient processes and quality results.
Base pay range: $125,000 - $150,000 (based on relevant experience).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Team lead activities:
- Lead a team of infrastructure maintenance technicians.

- Ensure team spirit and cohesion is maintained within the team.
- Propose technical and transversal improvement actions plan, including team organization and prioritization of activities.
- Lead change initiatives to support continuous improvement objectives
- Monitor and approve tools/equipment orders, collective and individual safety equipment, and other material for maintenance activities.
- Organize and monitor activities as it relates to electrical, cooling, security and building maintenance with support from data center operations experts.
- Communicate, explain, apply, and monitor OVH and local safety processes and guidelines within the data center.
- Creation and maintenance of site Energy Control Procedures (ECP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Methods of Operation (MOP) of equipment.
- Attend Change Management meetings and ensure that the team properly submits proper documentation to perform work in the production environment
- Review the Maintenance management system for proper maintenance frequencies to support continuous uptime.
- Manage the maintenance and operations of infrastructure equipment:
- Oversee internal and contracted maintenance teams and activities on site.
- Ensure effective organization is maintained between operations and all contracted activities. (works plans, KPIs, monitoring through internal tools, etc.).
- Provide expert knowledge and guidance needed to solve complex technical or organizational issues (electrical, water-cooling, building, etc.) and ensure appropriate action is taken to minimize downtime and maximize production.
- Ensure all quality and safety guidelines are known and respected by all that work on site.
- Supervise new equipment installations, infrastructure upgrades, tools, processes, and deliveries. Drive operational acceptance testing & proper reporting in the data center for the infrastructure team.
- Additional activities:
- Assist with operational and crisis management processes as needed.
- Participate in hardware deployment and operational projects.
- Support all contractors onsite for both service and construction projects
- Supervise activities related to infrastructure & operational domains.
- On-call support will be required and worked out with the on-site team.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in operating electrical and mechanical systems, and deployment of these systems in a high reliability environments.
- 5 years of experience leading/overseeing high reliability support technicians.
- 5 years experience in various types of root cause analysis to drive better operational performance.
- Strong knowledge of the data center environment (network, electrical, filtration, air conditioning, water-cooling, water treatment etc.).
- Team player and facilitator mindset.
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to work both autonomously and with a large team.
- Detail oriented and process oriented
- Must be dynamic, flexible, and rigorous.
Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to handle; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl. The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more. Operating hand tools and power tools on occasion to support service activities and small projects.
