We’re seeking a highly skilled Data Center IT Support Technician who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll be the go-to technical expert for end users, supporting a wide range of devices, systems, and onsite technologies. If you enjoy solving complex technical problems, delivering exceptional customer service, and owning IT operations at the site level—this is the role for you.
Position Details:
Hourly position based upon experience & skill level
Contract with possible contract extension or hire
Standard work hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: Client Site- Holly Ridge, LA 71269
Requirements:
- Required Qualifications -
- 5–7 years of handson support with relevant experience with in Fast paced environments
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and security tools
- maintain printers and multifunction devices.
- onsite support for desktops/laptops, peripherals, hardware replacements, and office IT equipment.
- Support video conferencing systems
- troubleshooting on switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Rack/stack network equipment, patch cables
- Record keeping of distributed assets
- Windows 10/11
- Microsoft 365 apps
- VPN Technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi
- Audio/Video Systems
- Active Directory, Entra ID, Intone, MDM
- Qualifications
- +, Microsoft, or ITIL
- ServiceNow, Citrix, Bomgar, asset management tools, disk encryption, Citrix Workspace, imaging tools (ManageEngine Endpoint Central), Cisco AMP/Umbrella, CrowdStrike Falcon.
