Sunayu, LLC has an exciting new opportunity to support the Defense Institute Foreign Center (DLIFLC). We are looking for professionals to help us manage and modernize the IT infrastructure that drives world-class instruction for the DLIFLCs diverse academic community.

Basic Qualifications & Background

The person in this position will serve as the lead of the Data Center Operations, which includes the responsibilities of proper configuration and support of domain system servers, SAN, backup systems, management, security of the datacenter. The duties include planning, installation, maintenance during or after-work hours, troubleshooting, and managing all servers and applications. The duties will include assessment of customer needs and implementation of improved configurations for customer needs.

  • Must have experience with SAN technologies in a highly virtualized and converged environment and maintaining a high availability data center.
  • A candidate applying for this role must have experience leading a team.
  • Must have experience maintaining a high availability data center
  • Experience with Amazon, Microsoft, or Google cloud services
  • Experience with VMware vSphere platform
  • Must have extensive experience in both application development/sustainment as well as operational support for large, highly scalable applications.

Education & Certifications

  • BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5+ years
  • AA/AS degree with 7+ years experience
  • 9+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement

Pay Rate

Salary range considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
