Data Center Logistics & Inventory Technician | Hutto, TX

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight, ensuring accurate documentation and material flow

• Perform daily inventory transactions, including receiving, put away, transfers, and staging

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory reconciliation, investigating and resolving discrepancies

• Operate RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track materials in real time

• Process return materials and RMAs using multiple inventory and tracking systems

• Maintain accurate data entry across inventory, shipping, and material movement activities

• Stage, move, and position server racks and equipment within designated data center areas

• Support basic rack population activities, including component placement and cable routing as directed by SOPs

• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, rack movers, and other approved equipment

• Use computers and spreadsheets to support tracking, reporting, and daily operational tasks

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in accordance with 5S and site safety requirements

• Push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs; stand, walk, and bend throughout the workday

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in warehouse operations, material handling, inventory control, logistics, or distribution

• Hands on experience using RF scanners, WMS, or inventory/ERP systems (SAP, Red Prairie, or similar preferred)

• Proven ability to perform accurate data entry and work within multiple computer systems

• Comfortable using Excel or spreadsheets for tracking, counts, or reporting

• Experience loading/unloading, staging materials, and supporting dock or floor operations

• Preferred but Not Required: Data center, electronics, or hardware handling experience. Basic understanding of computer or server components. CompTIA A+ or other technical certifications are a plus.

• Strong time management, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to follow written SOPs, checklists, and safety procedures consistently

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy

• Reliable attendance and ability to perform in a fast-paced, structured environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift

• Must pass a 10-year background check and drug screening

Pay

$21.00 per hour

Schedule

Day Shift | Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Must be willing and available to work overtime as needed
