Job Title: Data Center Sales Executive – Cable Tray Solutions
Location: , (NY Metro )
Position Overview:
We are seeking a high-preforming Data Center Sales Executive with expertise in cable tray systems to drive specifications and sales growth within the data center market. This position will focus on building new relationships with data center developers, general contractors, electrical contractors, engineers, and end users to promote innovative cable management solutions. The ideal candidate understands the fast-paced data center construction environment and has experience selling cable tray and other related electrical infrastructure products.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and create a strategic sales plan targeting hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and edge data center projects
· Drive product specifications with engineers, end users, consultants, and design-build construction firms.
· Build and maintain strong and prosperous relationships with:
o Data center developers and owners
o Electrical contractors
o MEPC, AE Firms, and Engineering consultants
o Distribution partners
· Identify upcoming projects nationally and position Snake Tray early in the design phase
· Schedule and conduct product presentations, lunch-n-learns, and technical training sessions
· Attend and work at industry trade shows
· Manage project pipelines, forecast, and reporting
· Collaborate with inside sales and engineering teams to deliver project-specific solutions
· Structure project pricing and increase revenue growth
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of sales experience in one or more of the following:
o Existing relationships within the data center ecosystem
o Strong knowledge of cable tray systems
o Electrical infrastructure components
o Data center products busway/power distribution
· Proven track record selling into the data center construction market
· Strong understanding of:
o NEC codes and requirements
o Data center construction build-out process
· Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
· Familiarity with BIM coordination processes
· Strong communication skills
· Self-motivated with the ability to travel and manage a territory
