We are seeking an experienced Data Center Splicing Manager to oversee fiber splicing operations for a high‐demand data center project in Abilene, TX. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage crews working extended hours in a fast‐paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fiber splicing operations for a large‐scale data center build.
• Manage, train, and support splicing technicians and field crews.
• Ensure all work meets industry standards, project specifications, and quality benchmarks.
• Coordinate scheduling, workflow, and material requirements.
• Perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical challenges on-site.
• Maintain accurate documentation: test results, splice records, as‐builts, and reports.
• Work closely with project managers, clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with all site rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of OSP/ISP fiber splicing experience (data center experience strongly ).
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in telecom infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of fiber optics, splicing methods, OTDR testing, and power meter usage.
• Ability to read and interpret fiber plans, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Comfortable working 70–80 hours per week.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
