Role : Data Centre Band 2 Techs

Location : Waltham, MA

Duration : 3-week project

Rate : $22/hr on 1099

Project Start Date: May 26, 2026

Project End Date: June 19, 2026

Site Address: 580 Winter St, Waltham, MA, USA 02451

Shift Timings: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Weekend and holiday work may be required.

Job Description:

• Perform the site survey and audit the physical devices inventory, Patch Panels connections 
• Perform the physical connectivity audit and identify the logical connectivity of the devices
• Provide list of additional material needed to perform the device migration.
• Perform all pre-cabling and preparation for device moves
• Remove devices from old rack, remove all not wanted cables from rack and remove rack also if not needed.
• Clean the area before handing over to data center manager.
• Create a list of inventory/Detail cable patch tracking
• Hands and feet support to move device from one rack to others.
• Labeling the cables/ Route the new cable and proper rack dressing during the cut over.
• Migration can be happen over the weekend end, after business hours, holidays
