Data Center Technician (NIGHT SHIFT)

HIRING / GROWING THE TEAM:

We are looking to add another Datacenter Technician for our Houston facility. It will be one of our most important shifts that sees all of our Colo+ action: Night Shift End Of Week - Weekends.

PRIMARY FOCUS: Learning more about the physical infrastructure side of data centers. Having an interest in working with you hands and gaining broad domain exprosure across electrical, mechanical, control, physical IT and cabling!

WORK SCHEDULE:  THIS IS AN IN-PERSON ROLE! (Th/Fri/Sa) and every other Wednesday (8 PM-8 AM)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • -Prior night shift experience or a strong demonstrable interest in working the NIGHT SHIFT
  • -Interest in learning more about the physical infrastructure side of data centers
  • - Good communication skills and willingness to provide customers with white glove Ritz Carlton-like experiences in person, by phone, and via ticket.
  • - Top tier work ethic
  • - Interest in making extra money when opportunities arise and don't mind picking extra hours
  • - Extremely rigorous and would take pride in the visual presentation of a job well done

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Running cross-connects
  • Receiving packages and tracking inventory
  • Writing procedures
  • Troubleshooting hardware
  • Working with servers, electrical and mechanical components
