Data Center Technician - No Experience Needed

We are currently hiring Data Center Technicians for a long-term commercial data center project in Lenoir, NC. This is a safety-driven environment where attendance, reliability, and compliance are critical.

Experience is a plus, but not required. We are open to entry-level candidates who demonstrate strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to safety.

Job Responsibilities:

• Pulling and routing CAT5, CAT6, and/or fiber cable in new construction data center environments
• Dressing, labeling, and terminating low voltage cable
• Installing ladder racks, cable trays, basket trays, server racks, and patch panels
• Rack and stack work in IDF/MDF environments
• Maintaining strict adherence to site-specific safety protocols
• Following all jobsite procedures, badge requirements, and security policies
• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and inspection-ready at all times

Attendance & Compliance Expectations (Non-Negotiable):

• Consistent, on-time daily attendance is mandatory
• No call/no shows or habitual lateness will result in immediate removal
• Must follow all site safety standards, PPE requirements, and data center protocols
• Zero tolerance for safety violations
• Must pass background check and drug screen
• Must be able to comply with all high-security facility requirements

Qualifications:

• No prior data center experience, or low voltage experience required – training available
• Construction, electrical, low voltage, or warehouse experience is a plus
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders
• Ability to work 40–58 hours per week, including overtime as needed
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday
• 40–58 hours per week (overtime expected based on project demands)

Compensation:

• $23–$30/hr depending on experience
• Weekly Pay
