Title: Data Center Technician - OSP

Location: Cheyenne, WY

Schedule: M-F (50 hrs/wk)

Pay: Up to $36/hour (Overtime Pay Eligible) + Per Diem Pay - If commuting more than 50 miles to site location 

Start: ASAP

About: Seeking a Data Center Technician to support fiber optic installation within large-scale data center environments. This role focuses on installing fiber optic cabling and pathway systems such as innerduct, MaxCell, conduit, and microfiber.

Qualifications

• Experience installing fiber optic cabling in OSP, telecom, or data center environments
• Experience with cable pulling, conduit/innerduct installation, and pathway systems
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check

Key Responsibilities

• Install and route fiber optic cable, innerduct, conduit, MaxCell, and microfiber throughout data center campuses and underground pathway systems.
• Safely pull and secure fiber cabling through conduit systems, manholes, handholes, and other pathway infrastructure.
• Read and interpret drawings, riser diagrams, and cable routing plans to complete installations accurately.
• Label and document fiber pathways, cable IDs, and completed work according to project standards.
• Work closely with construction teams, splicers, and project managers to support project timelines.
