An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shift Leader to join a Tier III live Data Centre in Slough. This is a hands-on leadership role within a critical 24/7 environment, responsible for maintaining and optimising electrical and mechanical systems while leading operations on shift.

This position will suit an electrically biased engineer with HV switching experience who is comfortable taking ownership of site operations, incident response, and contractor management within a mission-critical facility.

The Role:

HV & LV switching
Operation and optimisation of BMS & HVAC systems
Environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity, space conditions)
L8 water compliance and record keeping
Daily plant room inspections and defect identification
Subcontractor management and SLA control
Incident response, escalation and reporting
Full defect lifecycle management (investigation, quotes, PO raising, rectification)
Logbook management and compliance documentation

Package:

Salary up to £55,000
