Data Centre Shift Manager – 70k + Bonus - Slough\n\nWe are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Data Centre Shift Manager to join a leading organisation in Slough’s Data Centre operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in data centre operations, including holding a valid HV ticket.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Lead and manage a small shift team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the data centre.\n\n * Supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors on-site daily.\n\n * Monitor and maintain high operational standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.\n\n * Ensure the timely response to any technical issues or emergencies that may arise, coordinating with relevant teams as needed.\n\n * Regularly review and report on operational performance to senior management\n\nEssential Requirements:\n\n * Previous experience working in a Data Centre environment, with hands-on knowledge of operations and procedures.\n\n * Previous HV experience is required for this role\n\n * Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.\n\n * Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders effectively.\n\n * A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high service standards\n\nDesirable Skills:\n\n * Additional technical qualifications related to electrical engineering are essential\n\n * Experience working in mission-critical facilities with a focus on uptime and reliability\n\nOn Offer:\n\n * Competitive salary of 70k, plus a performance-related bonus.\n\n * Work within a well-established, industry-leading company in a crucial sector.\n\n * Opportunity to develop your career and enhance your leadership skills.\n\n * Work in a supportive and collaborative team environment\n\nIf you are a results-driven leader with a strong data centre background and meet the qualifications above, we’d love to hear from you
