Location: High Wycombe

Salary: £45,000 – £46,000 + On Call Allowance (£3,500 p.a.)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

We’re working exclusively with a leading facilities and engineering services provider to recruit an experienced Day Electrical Engineer for a high-profile critical site based in High Wycombe.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer with previous critical environment experience who’s looking to further their technical skills and progress within a stable and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out day-to-day maintenance and fault-finding on electrical systems within a critical facility

Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works

Support site operations and ensure uptime of business-critical equipment

Participate in a 1 in 3 on-call rota (with a £200 on-call payment per week, equating to an additional £3,500 p.a. even if not called out)

Work alongside a strong engineering team to maintain excellent site standards

Requirements

Proven electrical background within a critical environment (e.g. data centres, hospitals, financial institutions, etc.) – essential

Recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Proactive attitude with a desire to progress technically

Willingness to undertake HV & LV training, which will form a key part of the role moving forward

What’s on Offer

Competitive base salary of £45,000 – £46,000
