We are seeking a DCO Systems Technician (HVAC/Electrical) to join our critical infrastructure team in our Sparks, NV facility. This role is hands-on and focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting the electrical and mechanical systems that power and cool our world-class data center facilities.

This position is ideal for individuals with a solid understanding of electrical and HVAC systems who are ready to work in a fast-paced, 24x7x365 environment. Flexibility and a strong commitment to operational excellence are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical infrastructure systems, including power and HVAC.

  • Support and coordinate vendor activities as needed.

  • Monitor, document, and report on system performance and maintenance activities.

  • Follow established safety practices, procedures, and compliance requirements.

  • Provide reliable coverage on assigned shifts to ensure continuous data center operations.

Systems You’ll Work With:

  • Electrical feeders, transformers, generators, and switchgear

  • UPS Systems, DC Power Systems, ATS/STS units, PDU units, breakers, batteries, and load bank connections

  • HVAC systems including CRACs, air handling units, fluid coolers, and pumps

  • Fire suppression and safety systems

  • Data center cages and associated infrastructure

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center or related environment.

  • Understanding of data center safety, electrical, and cooling designs.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).

  • Basic computer skills including typing and email.

  • Ability to work any shift in a 24x7x365 operation (including nights, weekends, and holidays).

  • Must adhere to all safety standards and compliance requirements.

Shift Schedule:

  • Rotating schedule: 3 shifts on/4 off one week, then 4 shifts on/3 off the next.

  • 12-hour shifts.

  • Flexibility is required — shifts are assigned based on operational needs.
