Elvet Recruitment are on the lookout for a Design/Proposals Engineer to work for a global business with a UK Office based in Durham.\n\nThe company are a designer/manufacturer of electrical products used in Data Centre and Industrial projects across 130 countries.\n\nTheir head office and manufacturing facility is based out of Istanbul with further locations including: Germany, France, UAE, Australia and USA.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Technical analysis of requirements\n\n * Development of technical proposals\n\n * Creation of project documents (drawings/datasheets)\n\n * Offer preparation in SAP (with support from MD)\n\n * Drafting supporting documentation\n\nRequirements:\nA bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or a scientific discipline and/or previous experience in a similar role.\n\nRequired Skills:\n\n * Ability to critically analyze technical and commercial documentation\n\n * Experience in drafting offers in SAP\n\n * Proficiency in written and spoken English; a second is a plus\n\n * Advanced knowledge of Excel and main IT tools; experience with SAP systems is a plus\n\nFundamental Knowledge\n\n * Understanding of design fundamentals\n\n * Knowledge of electrical systems and electrical engineering principles\n\n * Proficiency in AutoCAD\n\nAdditional Knowledge:\n\n * Experience with Revit and Autocad\n\n * Strong critical analysis, attention to detail, and precision\n\n * Proactive attitude and strong interpersonal skills\n\n * Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines\n\n * Strong teamwork skills\n\nRemuneration\n\nOn offer for the role is a salary up to £35,000 alongside paid training as well as the opportunity to travel abroad to see the projects in person\n\nThis is a permanent position and Elvet Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.\n\nBy applying for this job you accept the T&Cs, Privacy Policy and Disclaimers which can be found on our website\n\nFor more information, please contact Jack Vasey at Elvet Recruitment
