A great opportunity for a Design Engineer to join a contractor-led team delivering a large-scale data centre project in Slough.\n\nThis role is site/project focused and will suit someone with strong experience coordinating and reviewing design information in a fast-paced construction environment.\n\nYou will work closely with the project and construction teams to manage and review design information, ensuring buildability, coordination, and compliance across multiple work packages.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\n * Review and coordination of structural steel drawings\n\n * Review of architectural white wall systems\n\n * Coordination and review of builder’s works information\n\n * Liaison with subcontractors, consultants, and site teams\n\n * Identifying and resolving design clashes and constructability issues\n\n * Ensuring design deliverables align with programme and site requirements\n\n * Supporting technical queries during construction\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline\n\n * Experience working on data centre, commercial, or large-scale industrial projects\n\n * Strong understanding of contractor-side design coordination\n\n * Ability to review and interrogate drawings rather than produce full design from scratch\n\n * Familiarity with steelwork, architectural packages, and builder’s works\n\n * Strong communication skills and attention to detail\n\nApply below with your updated CV
