Design Manager – Data Centres (Mission Critical Facilities) Frankfurt (with international projects) €66,000 – €120,000 + benefits Are you an experienced Design Manager looking to step into a role where you can lead complex, high-value data centre projects on a global scale? I’m working with a leading international engineering consultancy delivering cutting-edge mission critical facilities across Europe and beyond. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of multidisciplinary design delivery while working with some of the most demanding clients in the market.

The Role: You’ll be responsible for managing the full design lifecycle across data centre projects, leading teams across mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines, and ensuring high-quality, efficient delivery. Key responsibilities: Manage design scope, budgets, and programme delivery Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams Oversee design quality and challenge solutions where needed Work closely with clients and stakeholders across projects Drive innovation and continuous improvement across design processes What they’re looking for: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 5+ years’ experience managing design / engineering projects Background in data centres or other mission critical environments Strong understanding of BIM / digital design tools Confident communicator with client-facing experience Fluent English (German is beneficial but not essential) What’s on offer: €66k–€120k salary depending on experience 30 days holiday Flexible working (laptop + mobile provided) International project exposure Clear progression into senior leadership roles Ongoing training and development This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a more strategic role while still remaining c
