Design Manager – Hyperscale Data Centre (Frankfurt)

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Type: Full-Time, Project-Based

We are partnering with a leading international main contractor, that are seeking a Design Manager to join its delivery team on a hyperscale data centre project in Frankfurt. This pivotal role involves coordinating architectural and engineering information, managing technical submittals, and ensuring design deliverables align with the construction programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the site team to manage project setting out, focusing on architectural and engineering coordination
• Oversee integration of utilities and services between M&E engineers and external providers
• Prepare and maintain the schedule of information requirements in line with the contract programme
• Track and manage technical submittals for all construction components, ensuring timely approvals and procurement alignment
• Monitor submittal and procurement tracking systems, reporting progress and issues to the Project Manager
• Respond promptly to design-related queries, ensuring all correspondence is properly recorded and resolved
• Support BIM coordination, design reviews, and clash detection across disciplines

Requirements:

• Experience as a Design Manager on large-scale construction projects (data centre or mission-critical )
• Previous experience with a main contractor is essential
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Eligibility to work in the EU
