Managing teams in the development, design and coordination of engineering project services for M&e installations, systems and facilities\nCarries out cost and profit diagnosis on projects including feasibility studies and preparation of bids \nDevelops and specifies applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for all building engineering services purposes\nSurveys tests and reports on existing electrical/mechanical installations\nEnsure engineering calculations and drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards \nEnsures risk and performance monitoring analysis takes place through effective systems of internal control and delegation \nLeads on the coordination of engineering services  \n\n Requirements to be a Design Manager on hyperscale data centre projects:\n\nBSc/BEng in appropriate engineering discipline or have sufficient equivalent experience\nMCIBSE/MIEE or HND/HNC + appropriate experience or equivalent\nChartered Eng status\nSignificant experience of specification design for a range of building types\nSound knowledge & working application of key health and safety issues and legislation\nGood understanding of BS standards/ UK regulations/codes\nExperience and understanding of invoicing and credit control\nBackground in consulting or construction
