Job Description

Role-: Desktop Support (Data Center)

Location: 693 Liberty Hill Road, Huntsville, AL (Onsite)

Contract: Long Term Contract

Responsibilities:

Cabling & Termination:

• Perform end-to-end break/fix troubleshooting on servers, network hardware, and rack-level infrastructure, ensuring rapid restoration of data center operations with minimal downtime.
• The candidate will mount and install racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware. Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required.
• Network/power fault remediation, reseat/replace cables, NICs and PSUs cables.
• Mount and install racks, patch panels, fiber optic hardware, and grounding.
• Perform testing: continuity tests, use of volt-ohmmeter, troubleshoot cable issues, and use tone sets.
• Install various fiber connectors (LC, SC, ST, FC, FDDI, SMA, MPO/MTP) for multi-mode and single-mode fiber.
• The candidate will fully complete all paperwork accurately and on time specifically: timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers and others as required
• The candidate will complete any other duties as assigned
