Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to join the Client Services Operations team supporting high-volume Service Desk activities, hardware deployments, and end-user software support in the Matthews, NC area. The role requires strong technical expertise, customer service focus, and the ability to work onsite with travel as needed (expenses reimbursed).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced desktop support for hardware, software, peripherals, and networking issues
  • Install, image, configure, and deploy new computers and business applications
  • Set up and support local/network printers and other peripherals
  • Perform user data migration and profile transfers during system replacements
  • Utilize ServiceNow for incident tracking, updates, and resolution management
  • Collaborate with Data Center, Network, and Application teams to troubleshoot issues
  • Support account management activities (AD, email, NCID, Citrix, etc.)
  • Maintain technical documentation, processes, and operational procedures (updated annually)
  • Ensure adherence to IT security policies and safeguard organizational data
  • Provide status updates and communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders
  • Lead or support project efforts and assist in coordinating team activities

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in desktop support (hardware, software, networking, peripherals)
  • 7+ years of experience with PC imaging and workstation deployment
  • 7+ years of experience in printer installation and configuration
  • 7+ years of experience in user data and profile migration
  • 7+ years of experience in technical documentation and process creation
  • 7+ years of experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and IT infrastructure fundamentals
  • Ability to work onsite in Matthews, NC and travel as required
