Director of Construction - Data Centers

Job Description

Metric DCX is looking for a senior leader to oversee the delivery of large-scale data center infrastructure projects. This role supports the full lifecycle of development - design coordination, construction oversight, commissioning, and site readiness. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to keep technical scopes aligned, risks managed, and projects on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of electrical, mechanical, and critical infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate design, construction, and commissioning teams to maintain scope, schedule, and budget.
• Support utility and site readiness activities.
• Drive quality, risk mitigation, and operational preparedness.
• Provide guidance to project managers and technical staff.

What You Bring:

• 10+ years in data centers, critical infrastructure, or complex industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical/mechanical systems and commissioning.
• Proven ability to manage large programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Clear communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
