We are hiring a Director of Data Center Facility Services to lead and build a dedicated Data Center Cleaning & Critical Environment Services division.

Director of Data Center Facility Services

Douglassville GA-Hybrid office/field

Relocation candidates are welcome to apply

$150K-$180K plus bonus and benefits

This role requires hands-on data center experience — not general facilities management. You must understand live data center operations, contamination control, cleanroom standards, airflow management, ESD precautions, and mission-critical environments.

If you have worked directly inside data centers and led teams supporting critical facilities, this role was built for you.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead data center cleaning operations and contamination control programs

• Serve as subject matter expert for data center facility services

• Develop and enforce data center SOPs, cleanroom protocols, and safety standards

• Own data center certifications (CDCCP, ISO, ASHRAE, ESD controls)

• Train and manage specialized data center field teams

• Oversee quality control, audits, and compliance in live environments

• Act as technical advisor to data center clients and operators

• Partner with executive leadership and sales to grow the division

Required Experience 

• 5+ years of direct data center experience (operations, cleaning, critical environments)

• Hands-on work inside live data centers or mission-critical facilities

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Data center contamination control

  • Cleanroom standards

  • Airflow and particulate management

  • ESD protocols

• Experience leading or certifying data center service teams

• Proven leadership in safety-critical, compliance-driven environments

NOT a Fit If You Are:

• A general facilities manager with light data center exposure

• An IT or engineering professional without operations ownership

• New to data center standards or certifications
