Director, Selling Partner User Experience

The Director of Selling Partner User Experience leads the strategic vision and design standards for all seller-facing tools across Amazon's stores. This role defines the north star for how sellers interact with Amazon, owns UX for key Selling Partner Experience Outcomes (SXOs), and establishes quality standards that ensure consistency and excellence across the seller ecosystem.

With more than half of worldwide consumer units coming from Amazon's millions of professional sellers, this role contributes to a critical strategic priority. The Director leads a 60+ person UX organization across design, research, content, and program management, and maintains design partnerships across the Amazon Stores organization. Unlike traditional UX Director roles focused on a single business program, this position requires both depth and breadth across multiple programs, to design holistic journeys that transcend organizational boundaries.

The Director owns UX for core seller workflows—registration, onboarding, listing, inventory management, fulfillment, payments, and customer messaging—representing the majority of Seller Central traffic. Beyond direct ownership, the role influences hundreds of applications across dozens of Director and VP-led teams through frameworks, standards, and governance mechanisms.

The unique challenge of this position is driving cohesion across highly distributed ownership. The Director establishes scalable mechanisms, including the Seller Experience Bar Raiser (SXBR) program, page archetypes, and measurement frameworks, to maintain quality standards when no single team owns the end-to-end journey. Success requires exceptional cross-organizational influence, balancing strategic vision with tactical execution, and navigating complex stakeholder environments. The role brings teams together across silos to create unified workflows, providing sellers and vendors with a cohesive end to end experience.
