The Worldwide Process, Design and Innovation engineering team is responsible for designing all delivery stations and process infrastructure. This also includes managing engineering infrastructure on a global scale and driving strategic innovations and improvements across Amazon’s last-mile delivery station network.

We're seeking an innovative engineering leader to drive the evolution of Amazon's global Delivery Station network as we transform from manual to automated operations. This leader will spearhead the design, process and implementation of next- delivery infrastructure, addressing unprecedented challenges in cost, safety, quality, sustainability, and operational excellence. This position requires deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, and a passion for engineering excellence at scale. The successful candidate will lead a diverse team of Sr Managers and engineers focused on delivering innovative, standardized, and high-performance designs to enable AMZL’s long-term capacity growth, automation rollout, and sustainability goals.

Key job responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end design strategy for Building design, processes, and station layouts for last mile Delivery Stations.
• Lead innovation in delivery station architecture, equipment design, robotics integration, and process engineering to optimize safety, throughput, cost, and scalability
• Drive design standardization across urban, suburban, and rural delivery models while balancing regional flexibility
• Champion Design right for the first time principles in all engineering plans
• Lead the technological transformation of Delivery Station infrastructure from manual to semi-automated and fully automated systems
• Lead cross-functional coordination with key partners in Operations, Construction, Transportation, and Worldwide Design Engineering
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering organization of 60–100 professionals, including senior leaders and engineers fostering the next of technical leadership within Amazon.
• Own capital planning and budget management for all last mile design projects in North America
