POSITION SUMMARY:
The EDI Systems Analyst configures, installs, monitors, and maintains high business workflows across multiple environments to ensure high levels of data availability and throughput in support of the business community. This role provides direct end-user support for existing systems, including training and problem solving, and conducts detailed design analysis for new or replacement applications as required by department management. Salary $106K-$125K

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Performs mapping and management for EDI-based transactions and processes.
· Conducts EDI data audits and implement quality control measures.
· Writes and maintains documentation describing EDI development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
· Develops and maintains EDI translation maps and trading partner setups.
· Assists in the creation of test data and testing scenarios to fully exercise mapping logic.
· Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs.
· Supports internal and external customers with front-end and back-end development for EDI-related projects.
· Meets with internal personnel to discuss project specifications and perform needs analysis for departmental tasks.
· Assists end users and EDI Help Desk with questions or production issues.
GUIDELINES (ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS):
· Strong knowledge of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN).
· Proficient with EDI transaction sets such as 810, 832, 850, 855, 856, 860, 865, 870, 846, 940, 945, 997.
· Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to interpret and evaluate user requests and provide solutions.
· Strong written and oral communication skills; highly developed interpersonal skills.
· Strong understanding of sales order process management, order fulfillment, and customer service operations.
· Understanding of ERP systems integration, particularly Oracle JDE/E1 .
· Knowledge of inbound/outbound EDI tables in ERP/JDE systems .
· Experience with B2B integration and mapping tools is a plus.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
· 5 + years’ experience in mapping, analyzing, designing, and troubleshooting EDI systems, experience in using EDI development tools Dell Boomi.
