Location: Fort Worth, TX Manufacturing Facilities

Job Summary
The Environmental Health and Safety Director will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety, overseeing safety programs, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, and implementing best practices to minimize risks and accidents on at our manufacturing facilities and project sites. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a thorough understanding of safety standards and regulations.
Job Duties:
- Directs and coordinates activities of companies safety operations.
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards.
- Identify potential hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement effective control measures to mitigate risks.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify, report, and resolve non-compliance issues.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to safety.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety incidents, training, and compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure safety is integrated into project planning and execution.
- Lead incident response and emergency preparedness activities, providing guidance and support during critical situations.
- Represent the company during safety audits, inspections, and interactions with regulatory agencies.
- Reviews and analyzes expenditure, financial, and operations reports to determine requirements for increasing safety.
- Prepares recommendations on findings for management evaluation.
- Recommends capital expenditures for acquisition of new equipment that would increase safety of operations.
- Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field.
- 5 years in a safety management and leadership role .
- Analytical problem solving
- Oral and written communication
- Attention to detail
- Ability to influence change
- Valid qualification in occupational health and safety.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
Education and Experience
- Certificate in Safety Management
- Experience in an ISO 45001 certified organization.
Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in USA.
