Location – Red Oak, TX

Job type – 12 months contract with possible extension

Role Overview

We are seeking Electric/Electronics Technicians to support the testing, commissioning, and verification of electrical power and control systems used in prefabricated modular data center products.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician with 1–2 years of electrical/electronics or technical trade experience who is comfortable working with electrical components, reading basic electrical drawings, and following established testing and safety procedures.

You will work closely with senior technicians and commissioning engineers and gain valuable hands-on experience with low-voltage power systems, UPS and battery systems, PLC I/O, and electronic testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform basic pre-functional checks using approved OEM checklists.
  • Assist senior technicians and commissioning engineers during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
  • Verify electrical terminations, labeling, grounding, and overall system completeness.
  • Support equipment energization under close supervision.
  • Perform basic control point and alarm verification.
  • Conduct component-level testing and assist with troubleshooting.
  • Document test results accurately and report discrepancies.
  • Follow all OEM safety procedures and established Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of relevant electrical, electronics, technician, or skilled-trade experience.
  • Ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings/schematics.
  • Hands-on experience working with electrical or electronic components.
  • Basic understanding of electrical power and control systems.
  • Ability to use test equipment and follow established testing procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
