ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Job DescriptionELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION MANAGER – DATA CENTRE Location: London Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 + Accommodation + Travel + Benefits Sector: Data Centres / Mission Critical Position: Electrical Construction Management We are recruiting for an Electrical Construction Manager to join a major Data Centre Project in London. This is an opportunity to lead electrical delivery on a high-profile project, working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, suppliers and client teams from construction through to commissioning and handover. THE ROLE * Lead and coordinate electrical construction activities across the project. * Work closely with the Project Manager to deliver works safely, on programme and to specification. * Plan and sequence electrical works, manage labour and materials, and monitor progress. * Supervise electrical teams, subcontractors and specialist trades. * Ensure works meet technical specifications, quality requirements and H&S standards. * Manage short-term programmes, lookaheads, productivity and site coordination. * Support commissioning, testing and handover activities. * Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and client teams. * Identify and escalate issues affecting programme, productivity, quality or scope. * Support workforce development, apprentices and site teams. * Ensure materials, plant and equipment are effectively managed on site. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED * Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager on Data Centre projects. * Strong Electrical Building Services / MEP background. * Experience with power distribution, LV, HV, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, busbars and containment. * Knowledge of lighting, fire alarm, life safety and emergency systems. * Strong subcontractor management and workforce planning experience. * Experience delivering major mission-critical construction projects. * Strong programme management and construction planning experience. * Experience with commissioning, testing and handover. * Strong understanding of QA/QC, RAMS, ITPs and construction documentation. * Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
