Electrical Data Center Technician (Level 2)

We are seeking an Electrical Data Center Technician to support operations and maintenance within a mission-critical data center environment. This is a fulltime employee position based in Mechanicsburg, PA, requiring onsite work in a fully operational data center. The role focuses on maintaining uptime, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and supporting infrastructure critical to continuous operations. What You’ll Do

• Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems within a data center environment
• Support and maintain power infrastructure including UPS systems, batteries, PDUs, generators, and automatic transfer switches
• Monitor and work with building and energy management systems (BMS and EPMS)
• Conduct preventative maintenance and diagnostics using testing equipment such as multimeters, DLROs, and infrared scanning tools
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Respond to system alerts and support rapid issue resolution to maintain uptime
• Work collaboratively with operations teams to ensure system reliability and performance

What You’ll Bring

• 6+ years of overall work experience, including at least 3 years in a fully operational data center
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems including switchgear, generators, and UPS systems
• Experience working with both AC and DC power systems
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues
• Proficiency reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to obtain an Electrical License through the City of Harrisburg within one year of hire
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
