We have a few permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas.\n\nThe below job description will outline this position of: (Electrical Design Engineer)\n\nTypically, as an Electrical Design Engineer plays a key role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality electrical solutions for critical power applications. This position requires expertise in power distribution, backup systems, and electrical infrastructure to ensure reliability and efficiency in mission-critical environments such as data centres, healthcare facilities, industrial operations, and emergency power systems.\n\nHSB Technical’s client is an established and well-regarded business entity.\n\nDuties and responsibilities of the (Electrical Design Engineer)\n\nTechnical:\n\nDesign electrical systems, including control panels, generator controllers, UPS, and electrical distribution.\n\t\nSupport both LV and HV applications, ensuring compliance with BS7671 and CDM regulations.\n\t\nCreate and manage electrical schematics using CAD software.\n\t\nEnsure designs meet industry standards and project requirements.\n\t\nConduct FAT/SAT testing and on-site commissioning.\n\t\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting.\n\t\nPlan and schedule design projects to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.\n\t\nManage scope changes and identify potential profit opportunities.\n\t\nCollaborate with internal teams to meet project goals and maintain high-quality standards.\n\nQualifications and requirements for the (Electrical Design Engineer)\n\nA Degree in Electrical engineering or ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).\n\t\nStrong IT and CAD proficiency.\n\t\nExperience in electrical design, switchgear, and control panels; PLC programming is a plus.\n\t\nKnowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.\n\nThis vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
