Are you a seasoned Electrical Design Engineer and ready for the next step in your career journey?\n\nOur client, a leading engineering consultancy, based in London, is on the hunt for one talented individual to join their team, on a contract basis, outside IR35. This organisation is offering the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, with a frequent presence at their main office. The chosen candidate will be able to expand their experience and expertise through a variety of Data Centre projects.\n\n-Competitive hourly rate of £45-£50 (depending on experience).\n\n-Hybrid working arrangements (3 days on-site).\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n-Create intricate electrical system designs and specifications, for a variety of Data Centre projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements.\n\n-Maintain compliance with current regulations, standards, and project requirements, ensuring designs are efficient and promote sustainability.\n\n-Coordinate with multidisciplinary professional teams to ensure all design elements are integrated accurately, following specifications.\n\n-Assist with the implementation of drawings, as-built documentation, commissioning, and submittals, within the construction stage.\n\n-Assess designs for risks and errors, whilst presenting mitigation, and ensuring that the project is delivered in a timely manner, sticking to project budgets.\n\nRequirements: \n\n-Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification, in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\n\n-Extensive experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, or a similar position, ideally working on Data Centre projects within a consultancy environment.\n\n-Strong understanding of design software tools, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, BIM tools, and Revit, with an acknowledgement of current regulations and standards, and principles.\n\n-Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to establish and maintain rapport with project teams and other relevant parties.\n\n-Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage and effectively prioritise workload, whilst maintaining a proactive and problem-solving mindset
