Electrical Design Engineer\n\nBirmingham\n\nFulltime/Permanent\n\n£70,000 DOE\n\nJoin a leading offsite MEP specialist delivering prefabricated energy centres, plantrooms, and modular solutions across data centres, healthcare, district heating, and large-scale residential projects.\n\nYour Role:\n\n * Design electrical systems for prefabricated plantrooms, skids, and energy centres.\n\n * Produce schematics, GA drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment schedules.\n\n * Collaborate with mechanical engineers, BIM/CAD teams, and production to integrate designs.\n\n * Support manufacturing, FAT/testing, installation, and commissioning.\n\n * Ensure compliance with BS 7671, EN standards, and client requirements.\n\nYou Bring:\n\n * Degree/HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.\n\n * 3+ years in electrical design (MEP, energy, industrial, or building services).\n\n * Experience with LV distribution, MCCs, control panels, and HVAC electrical systems.\n\n * AutoCAD/Revit skills; BIM experience a plus.\n\n * Strong problem-solving, communication, and multi-project management skills
