Role Requirements & Location Details

  • Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer.
  • Location: Based in Stanmore, North London. They require 5 days a week in the office (9 am-5 pm) to facilitate the close collaboration essential for quality critical design.
  • Security: Candidates must be SC clearable for access to critical government and defence projects.
  • Salary: Up to 65k - Experience Dependent

Key Responsibilities – Your Impact

This role allows you to take ownership of the design process, from concept to handover:

  • Undertake complex engineering calculations using industry-standard software (Amtech, Pro-Design, etc.).
  • Prepare detailed tender specifications and technical drawings for major projects.
  • Contribute to the development of the wider team by providing technical guidance to trainees and graduates.
  • Participate in technical meetings with professional teams and contractors.

Interview Screening

The firm screens heavily for conceptual understanding and independent thought.
