Inside Sales Professional  

WORK HOURS: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday 

EDUCATION ( not Required): Journeyman or Master Electrician ; sales & relationship-building training and 5 years of sales experience in the electrical distribution or construction industry OR 10+ years of proven successful experience in the electrical distribution industry. 

SKILLSET (): Advanced electrical distribution and related educational technical experience. Minimally: Tenacity & thorough 
follow-up, detail oriented, ability to multitask, understandable & pleasant phone voice, competent with normal office software tools such as 
QuickBooks, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel), Google Applications; PDF software; knowledge & use of all general office machinery. 

POSITION OVERVIEW This position requires advanced electrical distribution and related educational technical experience. In this role, this 
person is responsible for making sure that the client remains first throughout the entire sales process.  
DUTIES INCLUDE
● Handle in-coming sales calls and walk-ins as well as emails, consult with customers, fulfill orders, upselling and add on sales are critical, process orders, source material when not in stock, communicate with customers throughout fulfillment. 
● Check stock, pull material, recondition when required, package and prepare for shipping, write customer invoice, enter order into shipping system, process credit card payment, and update sales and purchase orders within our proprietary system. 
● Build long-term relationships with new customers, nurture and build upon existing customer relationships, follow through on referrals (warm leads). 
● Assist in the building of customized electrical panels as well as the testing and reconditioning of salvaged or used parts to guarantee performance prior to selling. 
● Monitor online sales and purchasing platforms for inventory management and client order fulfillment. 
● Promote product lines and company capabilities to new as well as existing clients. 
COORDINATES WITH THE ENTIRE SALES AND ACCOUNTING TEAM INCLUDING: 
● Being aware well in advance of new products arriving and needing to be processed. 
● Providing feedback about missed sales opportunities (out-of-stock, do-not-carry), product mix, customer comments. 
● Making inventory managers aware of any inventory and/or e-commerce discrepancies. 
● Participating in regular inventory management exercises.
