About the Role

\n We are recruiting on behalf of a growing MEP and data centre engineering consultancy, delivering electrical design across data centre and technology building projects throughout Europe

.Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Principal Engineer to join their London office, leading the design, development and supervision of Data Centre projects from concept through to completion
\n
\n

\n What You Will Be Doi

\n Leading the development of electrical design across all project phases: preliminary studies, conceptual design, basic design and detailed desi - gn.Design and development of electrical systems for Data Centres, in compliance with international regulations and quality standar
- ds.Overseeing electrical drawings produced in AutoCAD and reviewing output from junior team membe
- rs.Preparing and supervising technical documentation including reports, measurements, drawings and specificatio
- ns.Identifying project risks and proposing corrective and preventive measur
- es.Visualising and interpreting models in Revit, with coordination and clash detection in Naviswor
- ks.Providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineers within the te
- am.Acting as a senior point of contact for clients on technical matte
