Electrical Engineer | Data Centre Sector Pivot

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to break into the high-growth Data Centre sector? Salter Grange is partnering with a premier Engineering Contractor to recruit ambitious engineers for a major new project in Europe.

This is a rare opportunity to transition your skills into the mission-critical space. While Data Centre experience is not required, we are looking for engineers who have delivered excellence on large-scale, complex projects.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be a pivotal link between design and execution, ensuring technical precision and operational efficiency across the project lifecycle.

Electrical Engineer Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare comprehensive method statements, risk assessments (RAMS), and technical contract documentation.

* Lead front-end studies, including capital cost estimates, material take-offs, and tender analysis.

* Resolve design queries via the RFI system and liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration.

* Monitor progress against the master schedule, produce "look-ahead" programs, and deliver detailed progress reports.

* Oversee rigorous Quality Control (inspections/snagging) and manage the delivery schedule to ensure zero downtime.

Electrical Engineer Requirements:

* We are looking for a detail-oriented engineer who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

* Minimum of 2+ years as an Electrical Engineer with an electrical contractor.

* Proven experience in Pharma, Industrial, Aviation, Healthcare, or Large-scale Commercial projects.

* Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and manage complex document control systems.

* A proactive communicator ready to adapt to the specialized requirements of Data Centre infrastructure.
