Falcon Green is partnering with an award-winning and forward-thinking contractor renowned for delivering complex, large-scale industrial projects across mainland Europe. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a driven and hands-on Electrical Engineer to join their growing team on a high-specification Data Centre project in Helsinki, Finland.\n\nThis role offers an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and proactive engineer who is eager to build a long-term career within the rapidly expanding Data Centre sector. You will be part of a supportive, collaborative team and work closely with a top-tier client that places strong emphasis on training, development, and internal progression.\n\nIn addition to a competitive salary, the position offers an attractive benefits package, including a living-away allowance, monthly flights, travel expenses, accommodation, and healthcare.\n\nPlease note that employment will be subject to the host country’s local labour laws.\n\nElectrical Engineer Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Maintain clear and accurate reporting to monitor progress and ensure alignment with key project milestones.\n\n * \n\n Review design and IFC specifications and drawings to gain a full understanding of the project scope.\n\n * \n\n Lead coordination activities to produce accurate installation drawings, working closely with BIM teams to ensure compliance and programme adherence.\n\n * \n\n Support on-site quality control, ensuring all works meet required technical, regulatory, and project standards.\n\n * \n\n Review subcontractor and supplier tenders to confirm alignment with technical and design requirements.\n\n * \n\n Ensure engineering activities, including procurement, are delivered in line with the project programme.\n\n * \n\n Prepare, submit, and manage all technical submittals in accordance with project requirements.\n\n * \n\n Ensure all installations comply with project specifications and the QA plan.\n\n * \n\n Coordinate subcontractor activities to maintain progress and clear communication, including recording minutes from weekly meetings.\n\n * \n\n Promote the adoption of best practices to improve project scheduling and delivery efficiency.\n\n * \n\n Liaise with the Project Quantity Surveyor to compile and prepare tender documentation for subcontractors and suppliers.\n\nElectrical Engineer Requirements:\n\n * \n\n 5–7 years’ experience within the electrical contracting industry, ideally with a recognised contractor.\n\n * \n\n Strong organisational skills with proven experience in project planning and coordination.\n\n * \n\n Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.\n\n * \n\n Proficiency in Navisworks and engineering-related database systems.\n\n * \n\n Experience using project planning tools such as Primavera, along with a solid understanding of CAD and BIM workflows.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing industry with excellent long-term career prospects.
