What You will Achieve
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience in electrical consulting Engineering field to join Vanderweil as a Project Electrical Engineer. You will be involved in:
- Work with Sr. Engineers and Project Managers to understand project goals and requirements
- Participate in meetings / discussions with the team members, including the owner, project architect, and other internal and external project disciplines.
- Part of project team in designing the building infrastructure, including medium Voltage and Low Voltage electrical service, main electrical distribution equipment, building distribution equipment.
- Document design calculations and design path decisions.
- Model electrical distribution systems with our analysis software.
- Perform electrical load calculations and electrical engineering studies.
- Use Revit to model electrical systems is a plus.
- Perform site surveys and CA field visits.
Essential Skills & Requirements
- 6+ years of related experience
- FE and or PE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Revit knowledge is a plus
- Understanding of the NEC, IBC and IECC.
- SKM, AGI 32 and AMPCALC 4 desired.

The compensation that we expect to pay for this position is commensurate with years of experience, project portfolio, geographic location, professional licensure and education and may range in the $95,000 to $140,000 range.
