Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks for critical facilities
  • Integrate advanced technologies such as automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Ensure safety by implementing arc flash mitigation, fault detection systems, and compliance with NEC, NEMA, API, and IEEE standards
  • Deliver technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and layouts for new builds and facility upgrades
  • Manage complex engineering projects from concept through completion while staying on budget and on schedule
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering solutions with business goals
  • Mentor junior engineers, encouraging technical growth and knowledge sharing

What Were Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 4+ years of electrical engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industry
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general PC skills
  • Ability to review arc flash studies and implement improvements
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a safety-first mindset

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and instrumentation systems
  • Background in Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC phases of small to medium facility projects
