Our client has an amazing opportunity for an Electrical Engineer III who will lead the design and optimization of electrical systems that power essential infrastructure pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities. Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Manage projects from concept to completion, aligning engineering solutions with business goals and timeline
- Champions the integration of advanced technologies including automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance system performance and reduce operational costs
- Implements robust safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to protect personnel and ensure infrastructure reliability
- Provides technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for both new construction and upgrades to existing facilities
- Ensures compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and regulatory standards across electrical systems and project execution
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet internal and external customer needs
- Mentors and supports the development of junior engineers fostering technical growth knowledge sharing and a culture of continuous improvement
Education/Years of Experience:
- Required: Bachelors degree in electrical engineering and eight (4) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry
- : PE License
- : Masters degree in electrical engineering
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills?
- Power and Controls experience
- Proficiency in reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements
- Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)?
- : Experience with PLCs?
- : Project Management experience?
- : Experience working in Preliminary-Front End Engineering and Design (Pre-FEED), Front End Engineering Design (FEED), or Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) of small to medium facility projects
- : Proficiency in designing, and implementing, Instrumentation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems
