Your ability to balance technical depth with project leadership makes you a key contributor to our success.Your work will challenge you, and with our Core Values to guide you, you’ll quickly learn and grow with us.Responsibilities/Expectations:Works on the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilitiesPromotes the integration of advanced technologies including automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance system performance and reduce operational costsImplements robust safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to protect personnel and ensure infrastructure reliabilityProvides technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for both new construction and upgrades to existing facilitiesParticipates in complex engineering projects from concept to completion ensuring alignment with business goals timelines and budget constraints Ensures compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and regulatory standards across electrical systems and project executionCollaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet internal and external customer needsOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, OR bachelor's degree in engineering technology from an ABET accredited college or university in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and (4) four years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry: Master’s degree in electrical engineering from ABET accredited college or universityJob Requirements:Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills? (not a MUST): Professional Engineer (PE) licensureKnowledge of reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvementsWorking knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)?: Experience with PLCs?: Project Management experience?: Experience working in Preliminary-Front End Engineering and Design (Pre-FEED), Front End Engineering Design (FEED), or Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) of small to medium facility projects: Supports the designing and implantation of Instrumentation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systemsAdditional Job Description --- Power Innovation: Additional RequirementsKnowledge in power system design, analysis, and simulation (e.g., ETAP, MATLAB, PSCAD, Simulink or similar tools)Knowledge of high-voltage equipment, transformers, generators, and switchgearUnderstanding of grid integration and renewable energy systemsExperience in supporting procurement processes for electrical equipment and materials, with established industry contacts for sourcing reliable vendors and suppliers: Experience with participation of the commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with design specifications
