Electrical Engineer III | Work on Infrastructure That Actually Keeps Things Moving

Job Description

You didn't become an electrical engineer to spend your day pushing paperwork. You want projects with real impact, technical problems worth solving, and the chance to see your work support critical infrastructure that people rely on every day.

\n

\n

Here's where you'll make that happen. You'll help design, improve, and optimize electrical power systems supporting pipelines, compressor stations, and other industrial facilities. You'll own meaningful work while collaborating with experienced engineers and project teams on complex capital projects from concept through execution.

\n

\n

What you'll be doing includes designing and improving power distribution systems, developing electrical layouts and schematics for new and existing facilities, supporting automation and real-time monitoring initiatives, reviewing arc flash studies and implementing safety improvements, partnering with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule, and helping commission and troubleshoot electrical equipment in the field.

\n

\n

What you get is the opportunity to work on long-term infrastructure projects expected to continue for years, gain exposure to engineering projects from design through execution, collaborate with experienced technical professionals, and build experience that can lead to future opportunities within a growing organization. This is a two-year contract based in Pittsburgh with pay ranging from $50–56/hour. The role is 100% onsite with up to 50% travel to a project site in Columbus.

\n

\n

You're someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, communicates well with both engineers and operations teams, and likes seeing projects through instead of handing them off. You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and experience designing industrial electrical systems, ideally within natural gas, energy, data centers, or similar heavy industrial environments.
