Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Data Centre (SCADA / P2G)\nLocation: Slough, UK\nRequirement: Must be local to Slough or able to travel to Slough on a daily basis\nEmployment Type: Full-time (site-based)\nRole Overview\nWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support commissioning activities on a major data centre project in Slough. The role will focus heavily on SCADA commissioning, including Point-to-Point (P2P) testing and Point-to-Graphic (P2G) verification. The successful candidate will work closely with commissioning teams, controls engineers, and client representatives to ensure systems are installed, tested, and commissioned to the highest standards.\nKey Responsibilities\n * Carry out SCADA commissioning activities for data centre electrical systems\n * Perform Point-to-Point (P2P) testing between field devices and SCADA systems\n * Complete Point-to-Graphic (P2G) checks to ensure correct mapping, alarms, and visuals\n * Support testing and commissioning of electrical infrastructure, including:\n * LV/MV systems\n * UPS systems\n * Generators\n * Switchgear\n * Review and mark up drawings, I/O lists, and commissioning documentation\n * Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical and controls-related issues\n * Liaise with project managers, commissioning managers, and client teams on-site\n * Ensure all work complies with relevant UK standards, safety regulations, and site procedures\n * Assist with witnessing tests and handover documentation
