Electrical Estimator – Multiple Locations

Locations: Cleveland, OH | Louisville, KY | Janesville, WI | Mississauga, ON | Buffalo, NY

The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely full-cost electrical project estimates, including material, labor, equipment, vendor pricing, subcontractor costs, and project closeout support.

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare electrical cost estimates for industrial, automotive, data center, design-build, conceptual, and general tender projects
  • Review proposals, plans, specifications, drawings, and schematics
  • Calculate material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and vendor costs
  • Draft RFQs and secure competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Work with project teams, estimators, and estimating leadership to finalize project pricing
  • Use estimating software, including Accubid, to develop accurate estimates
  • Analyze pricing, cost factors, indirect costs, overhead, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Support planning, scheduling, bidding, vendor selection, and subcontractor evaluation
  • Recommend process improvements and assist with additional estimating duties as needed

What We Are Looking For:

  • 5+ years of electrical construction estimating experience
  • Experience in industrial, automotive, data center, or large commercial electrical projects
  • Strong understanding of electrical drawings, schematics, plans, and specifications
  • Proficiency with Accubid estimating software
  • Knowledge of electrical trade scope, labor units, materials, and industry practices
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work well with project teams, vendors, subcontractors, and leadership
  • Must be able to commute to the assigned office location
