Location: Duluth, GA
As an Electrical Estimator, you’ll play a key role in preconstruction, turning designs and ideas into accurate, competitive cost estimates. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to help shape projects before they’re built.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates for design-build and plan/spec projectsReview drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to develop accurate takeoffsSolicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing for all scopes of workBuild comprehensive project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunitiesEvaluate design documents for completeness, constructability, and value engineeringCollaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure seamless project handoffUpdate and maintain estimating databases, labor rates, and unit cost assembliesContribute to process improvements and mentor junior estimators (for senior-level roles)
What You’ll Bring:
3–5+ years of experience estimating electrical construction projectsStrong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and installation practicesProficiency with estimating tools (Accubid, Trimble, McCormick, or similar)Excellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work under deadlines with strong attention to detailBachelor’s degree in construction management, Electrical Engineering, or related field ()Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
Bonus Points:
Experience with data center, renewable energy, or large commercial projectsDesign-build estimating experienceFamiliarity with BIM or digital takeoff softwareLeadership experience or mentoring junior estimators
