Electrical Estimator\n Location: London (Hybrid Working)\n Sector: Commercial, Aviation, and Data Centre Projects\n Company: Tier 1 M&E Contractor\n\nOverview\n Our client, a leading Tier 1 M&E contractor, is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale and technically complex projects across the commercial, aviation, and data centre sectors.\n\nThe role offers hybrid working and the chance to be part of a forward-thinking business known for delivering high-quality engineering solutions across the UK and Europe.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPrepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for projects ranging from initial concept through to final tender submission\n\nReview design documentation and specifications to produce competitive and compliant tenders\n\nWork closely with the pre-construction, design, and delivery teams to ensure cost accuracy and buildability\n\nLiaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations\n\nSupport value engineering exercises and identify potential cost-saving opportunities\n\nContribute to bid presentations and client meetings when required\n\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing, labour rates, and industry standards\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the M&E contracting sector\n\nStrong background working on commercial, aviation, or data centre projects\n\nExcellent understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation methodologies\n\nAbility to interpret complex drawings and specifications\n\nProficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite\n\nStrong attention to detail and analytical skills\n\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities\n\nBased within a commutable distance to London with flexibility for hybrid working\n\nPackage & Benefits\n\nCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)\n\nHybrid working model - mix of office and remote work\n\nOpportunity to work on high-value, technically challenging projects\n\nCareer development within a leading Tier 1 contractor\n\nIf you're an experienced Electrical Estimator seeking your next challenge with a respected Tier 1 M&E contractor, apply today or get in touch for a confidential discussion
