About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join our growing team, working on a variety of high-profile projects across the UK. This role involves installation, testing, and commissioning within critical environments such as hospitals, data centres, utilities, and power infrastructure.
You will be responsible for ensuring electrical systems and equipment are installed and commissioned to the highest standards, working closely with both internal teams and customers to deliver safe and reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Nationwide travel to install, commission, and test electrical systems.
*
Control panel installations, wiring, and terminating.
*
Electrical testing and commissioning of completed works.
*
Liaising with the office team, site teams, and clients.
*
Producing accurate site reports upon completion of works.
*
Ensuring compliance with health & safety and industry standards.
Requirements
*
Previous experience as an Electrical Commissioning Engineer / Service Engineer / Test Engineer.
*
Experience in one or more of the following environments: hospitals, data centres, utilities, power, or other critical systems.
*
Familiarity with systems such as Generators, UPS, HV/LV Switchgear, Substations, Circuit Breakers, Protection & Control Relays.
*
Electrically qualified (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent apprenticeship).
*
City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) advantageous.
*
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
*
Good initiative, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
*
Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
*
Valid CSCS card.
