Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Days & Nights – 7am–7pm / 7pm–7am)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + Package
The Opportunity Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for your next career move? We’re working with a leading FM service provider on a prestigious critical commercial site in Moorgate, London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional, high-performing engineering team where you’ll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring business continuity at a modern, high-spec facility.
What You’ll Be Doing
- \n
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs across the site.
\n
- Fault-finding, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of systems including:
- \n
- HV/LV distribution
\n
- UPS systems & backup generators
\n
- Lighting, emergency lighting & small power
\n
- Electrical panels and control systems
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
- HV/LV distribution
- Monitoring & responding to BMS alarms, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
\n
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and compliance standards.
\n
- Supporting the wider engineering team, liaising with mechanical engineers, contractors, and site management.
\n
- Keeping accurate and detailed maintenance records.
\n

What We’re Looking For
- \n
- Recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 2365, 2330, 18th Edition).
\n
- Experience in a commercial building services or critical environment (banking, data centres, hospitals, corporate sites).
\n
- Strong working knowledge of UPS, generators, and HV/LV systems.
\n
- HV/LV Authorised Person status – desirable but not essential.
\n
- A proactive, flexible engineer who takes ownership and works well in a team.
\n
