Location: Canary Wharf, London
Salary: £50,000 + Benefits
Shift Pattern: Continental Shifts (Days & Nights, 6am–6pm / 6pm–6am)
Site: Critical Environment

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dedicated engineering team on a critical site in Canary Wharf. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to work in a fast-paced, high-profile environment, carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance to ensure the continued reliability and performance of essential systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on a critical site.

    \n

    • \n

  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards and statutory requirements.

    \n

    • \n

  • Respond promptly to faults, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions.

    \n

    • \n

  • Support the smooth operation of electrical and building services equipment.

    \n

    • \n

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contractors to maintain operational excellence.

    \n

    • \n

Requirements:

    \n
  • Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365/2391, 18th Edition).

    \n

    • \n

  • Proven experience working in a critical environment (e.g. data centre, financial, hospital, or similar).

    \n

    • \n

  • Strong knowledge of PPM & reactive maintenance.

    \n

    • \n

  • Ability to work on a continental shift rota (days & nights).

    \n

    • \n

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.

    \n

    • \n
